MUSHROOM VERMICELLI

Serve 1

Ingredients:

  • Vermicelli, 1 bundle
  • Mushrooms, 4-5
  • Dashi sachet, 1
  • Hot water, about 1.2 litres
  • Green onions, for garnish (chopped)

 

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Thermos® Food Jar by filling it with boiling hot water, close the lid tightly and let it sit aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Wash and remove stems of mushrooms, and cut into bite-sizes. Cut vermicelli into few parts. 
  3. Discard water from the Food Jar. 
  4. Add in Dashi sachet and pour in boiling hot water till half full. Close the lid tightly and let it sit aside for 10 minutes.
  5. After 10 minutes, remove Dashi sachet. Add vermicelli and mushrooms. 
  6. Pour in boiling hot water till inner rim full, close the lid tightly and let it sit aside for 15 minutes. 
  7. Before serving, garnish with green onions.

  • This recipe is based on using Thermos® Food Jar JBM-500 / JBM-501
