LAKSA

Serves 4 to 6

Ingredients:

  • Prima Taste Laksa Meal Kit, 2
    • Laksa premix, 2 packets
    • Laksa paste, 2 packets
    • Sambal chili, 2 packets
    • Water, 1.2 litres
    • Tau Pok, 1 packet
    • Fish Cake, 3 (sliced)
    • Prawns, 16 to 24
    • Thick Bee Hoon, 2 packets
    • Bean Sprouts, 1 packet
    • Hard Boiled Eggs, 4 to 6 (optional)
    • Laksa leaves (minced), for garnish (optional)

 

Instructions:

  1. In a 3.0L Thermos® Shuttle Chef® inner pot, add 1.2 litres of water, laksa premix packets, laksa paste packets, tau pok and sliced fish cakes. Bring it to a boil over medium heat.
  2. When boiling, close the inner pot with lid and transfer it to the outer pot. Let it sit aside for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Before serving, in a separate pot with boiling water, add thick noodles, bean sprouts and prawns. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes till desired noodles texture and place it in a bowl.
  4. Pour in laksa gravy with tau pok and fish cakes. Add egg, sambal chili (preferred amount) and garnish with minced laksa leaves.

Notes: 

  • This recipe is based on using Thermos® Shuttle Chef® TCRA-3000. You may adjust the ingredients quantities based on the capacity of the Shuttle Chef®.
