MINCED PORK & CORN PORRIDGE

Serve 1

Ingredients:

  • Rice, 60 grams (less than 1/2 cup)
  • Corns, 2 tablespoons
  • Minced Pork, 50 grams
  • Sesame oil, 1 teaspoon
  • Chicken Essence/Stock
  • Salt, to taste
  • White pepper, to taste
  • Chopped Spring Onions, to garnish

Instructions:

  1. Wash rice thoroughly, soak in water for 2 hours and rinse well.
  2. Rinse corns with hot water and put it aside.
  3. Place rice, minced pork and corns into a Thermos® Food Jar.
  4. Preheat by pouring in hot boiling water till the inner rim, close the lid tightly and let it sit aside for 1 minute. Rinse off the water. 
  5. Add sesame oil, chicken essence/stock, salt and white pepper. Pour in hot boiling water till the inner rim, cover lid tightly and let it sit aside for about 70 minutes. 
  6. Before serving, sprinkle with spring onions.
