VEGETABLES SOUP RICE

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • Small potatoes, 3-4 
  • Tomato, 1
  • Celery, 1/2 stalk
  • Minced meat, 30 grams
  • Dark soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon
  • Potato starch, 1 teaspoon
  • Salt, 1 teaspoon
  • Chicken essence
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Oil, 1 tablespoon
  • Rice, 50 grams

Instructions:

  1. Wash and dice small potatoes, tomato and celery. 
  2. In a small bowl, add minced meat, dark soy sauce, potato starch, half teaspoon of salt and small amount water and mix well. Set aside. 
  3. Boil water in a pot. When boiling, add in the diced potatoes, tomatoes and celery as well as a half teaspoon of salt, appropriate amount of chicken essence, pepper and oil. Let it boil under mid-high heat. 
  4. When boiling, add marinated minced meat and turn off heat. Add rice and mix well. 
  5. Pour soup rice into a Thermos® Food Jar, close the lid tightly and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes for heat insulation cooking. 

 

Tip: For vegetarian option, replace marinated minced meat with diced tofu and chicken essence with vegetable stock.
