Serves 4 to 5
Ingredients:
- Black Sesame Oil, 2 tablespoons
- Ginger, 45 grams (sliced, with skin on)
- Chicken Drumstick, 500 grams (washed)
- Taiwanese Rice Wine (Michiu), 50ml
- Sugar, 3 teaspoons
- Chicken Broth, 1 litre
- Salt, ½ teaspoon
- Scallion, to garnish (chopped)
Instructions:
- In a 3.0L Thermos® Shuttle Chef® inner pot, add black sesame oil, sliced ginger, and stir fry over medium heat for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, add in chicken drumsticks, and stir fry for 10 minutes, until browned on all sides.
- Add in Taiwanese rice wine, sugar, chicken broth, salt, and bring contents to a boil. Let it simmer for another 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, cover the inner pot with lid and transfer it into the Shuttle Chef® outer pot. Let it sit aside to continue cooking for at least 4 hours.
- Before serving, garnish with scallions.
Notes:
- This recipe is based on using the Thermos® Shuttle Chef® TCRA-3000. You may adjust the ingredient quantities based on the capacity of the Shuttle Chef®.
