Ingredients (Serves 4)
- Winter melon, 200g
- Ham, 4 slices
- Egg white, 1 egg
- Chicken broth, 4 cups
- Sake, 1 tablespoon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Coriander as garnish
- Potato starch, 1 tablespoon
- Water, 1 tablespoon
Instructions
- Peel and slice winter melon, cut ham into diamond shapes.
- Heat chicken broth in Thermos® Shuttle Chef® inner pot to boil. Add winter melon, ham slices and seasoning as desired, heat for 2 minutes.
- Place Shuttle Chef® inner pot into outer pot, over lids and let soup simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove inner pot; put on stove and bring it to boil again. Add potato starch mixed with water, and finally egg white.
- Pour into bowl and serve with coriander.
