Ingredients:
- Black Beans with Green Kernel, 1 tablespoon (pre-prepared)
- Hot Water
Instructions:
- Pre-heat a Thermos® Tumbler by filling it with hot water, close the lid tightly and let it sit aside for 5 minutes. Discard water.
- Place the ingredients into the Tumbler in the following sequence and cover the lid tightly immediately: 250ml boiling hot water, 1 tablespoon black beans and 250ml boiling hot water
- Give the tumbler a good shake and let it sit it aside for 30 minutes.
Notes:
- This recipe is based on using the Thermos® Tumbler with Strainer TCMK-500.
- This recipe is for Black Beans with green kernel, 青仁黑豆 and not Black Soy Beans.
- You may keep the black bean tea in the tumbler for up to 8 hours.
- Black beans are rich in antioxidants and excellent source of iron, magnesium, folate, phosphorus and zinc.
Tips:
- Pre-prepare the black beans with these steps:
- Pre-heat the air fryer for 8 minutess, at 180°C.
- Rinse the black beans under running water. Dry with paper towel.
- Bake the black beans in the air fryer for 10 minutes, at 160°C.
- Remove the black beans from the air fryer and let them cooled uncovered.
- Store the black beans in an air-tight container.
- The baked black beans can be stored in the air-tight glass jar for up to 1 month. Store in a cool and dry place to ensure freshness.
- Instead of air-frying, you can bake the black beans in an oven or toast them in a frying pan over the stove on low heat.
