Make Life Better with Thermos Singapore’s latest local series

Designed in collaboration with the Singapore Association for Mental Health, the series aims to promote the importance of self-care and holistic wellness

Thermos Make Life Better series

Singapore (6 April 2023) – Make Life Better with the new Singapore Exclusive Local Design series from Thermos®, the pioneer in developing innovative vacuum-insulated lifestyle products. The series of three products, designed in partnership with clients from the Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH), are available only in Singapore from 6 April onwards.

The Thermos® Singapore Exclusive Local Design ‘Make Life Better’ series includes three of Thermos Singapore’s vacuum-insulated best-sellers - a One-Push Tumbler, Mug with Handle and Lid, and Food Jar with Folding Spoon - that depict artistic expressions of love, hope and optimism in shades of calming pastels with subtle gold accents. Thermos Singapore commissioned three clients from SAMH to jointly develop the designs, for Singapore.

The series is the latest in Thermos Singapore’s Singapore Exclusive Local Design collection that showcases best-loved products in the Singapore market, transformed into limited-edition collectibles with a local flavour. Past editions include the ‘Go Green’ series that supports environmental consciousness, as well as the ‘Mickey Loves Singapore’ series that features local playgrounds alongside the iconic mouse.

The series of products were announced in conjunction with World Health Day on 7 April. The One-Push Tumbler and Mug with Handle and Lid are available online at official Thermos® E-commerce stores, and at major department stores. Pre-orders for the Food Jar with Folding Spoon start on 6 April, and the product will be in-store from end April.

“We are delighted to collaborate with Thermos Singapore on this 'Make Life Better' collection, which includes three designs inspired by our clients' personal mental health journeys. With our vision of ‘Mental Wellness for All’, this collaboration also demonstrates the therapeutic nature of creative expression in achieving holistic health. As SAMH celebrates its 55th anniversary, we remain committed to promoting community mental health and striving to enhance societal resilience. We hope that our clients' illustrations on this series of products will pique people's interest in health and wellness and encourage them to seek help when necessary. We look forward to continue empowering those in recovery and promoting mental well-being in collaboration with Thermos Singapore and other like-minded organisations,” said Ngo Lee Yian, Executive Director, Singapore Association for Mental Health.

“The pandemic casts a spotlight on the importance of holistic health, and even as restrictions ease, our efforts to stay well should be an ongoing journey. Each of us can do our part, not just to take care of ourselves, but also keep a lookout for people around us. We are proud to partner SAMH and its clients, and through our exclusive series, support their efforts in offering daily reminders to make life better. Be it through having a healthy drink or a nourishing meal, we hope the series will inspire everyone to adopt a wellness mindset and take simple everyday steps to uplift every day,” said Takanori Oda, Thermos Singapore’s Managing Director.
