PURPLE SPINACH AMARANTH

Serves 3 to 4

Ingredients:

  • Chinese Purple Spinach Amaranth (Yin Choy), 300 grams
  • Minced Garlic, 3 teaspoons
  • Cooking Oil, 1 tablespoon
  • Water, 300ml
  • Salt, ½ teaspoon
  • Light Soy Sauce, 1 teaspoon

 

Preparations: 

  1. Remove the roots of the yin choy and wash thoroughly. Set aside for later use. 

Instructions:

  1. In a 24cm Thermos® KFH-024D Ultra-Deep Non-Stick Frying Pan, heat cooking oil over low-medium heat for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Add in garlic and stir fry for 5 minutes until golden brown.
  3. After 5 minutes, add in the washed yin choy and water. Continue to stir fry the spinach for 5 to 7 minutes until soften.
  4. Season with salt and light soy sauce until well combined.
