MEAT AND POTATOES

Ingredients(serves 4)

  • Beef, 200g
  • Potatoes, 500g
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 small carrot
  • Green peas, 2 teaspoons
  • Olive oil, 2 tablespoons
  • Beef broth, 1½ cup
  • Sugar, 3 tablespoons
  • Mirin, 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce, 5 teaspoons

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel potatoes. Cut potatoes, beef, onions and carrots into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat oil in your Thermos® Shuttle Chef® inner pot. Lightly fry beef, onion, carrots and potatoes for 7 minutes.
  3. Proceed to add sugar, Mirin, soy sauce and beef broth.
  4. Place Shuttle Chef® inner pot into the outer pot and let contents simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. Add green peas and stir thoroughly before serving.
