Serves 1
Ingredients A:
- Shiitake Mushroom, 1 piece (15 grams, thinly sliced)
- Chinese Bak Choy (Xiao Bai Cai), 50 grams (cut to bite-size)
- Spring Onion, 10 grams (diagonally and thinly cut)
- Chilled Dumplings (off-the-shelf), 5 pieces (75 grams)
Ingredients B:
- Water, 180ml
- Chicken Soup Stock, ½ teaspoon
- Soy Sauce, 2 teaspoons
- Egg, 1 (beaten)
- Vinegar, 1 teaspoon or amount as desired
- Chilli Oil, amount as desired
- Pepper, amount as desired
Instructions:
- Put Ingredients A in a Thermos® Food Jar , add hot boiling water (separate amount). Let it sit aside for at least 5 minutes, without covering lid.
- Using a small pot, heat Ingredients B (water, chicken soup stock and soy sauce). Bring to boil and slowly pour in beaten egg, and finally, add vinegar, chili oil and pepper.
- Drain water from food jar in Step 1, and add in contents made from Step 2. Close lid and keep warm for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes:
- This recipe is based on using a 0.5L Thermos® Food Jar JBM-502. You may adjust the ingredients quantity based on the capacity of the Thermos® Food Jar.
Tips:
- Please consume the stew within 6 hours after keeping warm.
