CLAM AND LUFFA IN WHITE WINE SOUP

Serve 1

Ingredients:

  • Olive Oil, 1 teaspoon
  • Ginger, a pinch (cut into small and think strips)
  • Clams, 1 cup (thoroughly cleaned and rinsed)
  • Luffa, 1/4 (cut into 4-5cm strips)
  • Rice Wine, 2 tablespoons
  • Spring Onions, for garnish (chopped)


Instructions:

  1. In a Thermos® Food Jar, pre-heat it by adding hot boiling water full till inner rim, close lid tightly and let it sit aside for 10 minutes. Discard water.
  2. Add olive oil and ginger strips, close lid immediately and allow heat insulation cooking for 5 minutes until fragrant.
  3. After 5 minutes, add clams, luffa strips, rice wine and hot boiling water till about 75% full. Close lid immediately and let it sit aside to continue cooking for 30 minutes.
  4. Before serving, garnish with spring onions.

 

Notes:

  • This recipe is based on using Thermos® SK-3000 Food Jar. You may adjust the ingredients quantity accordingly to the Food Jar capacity.
